1- baked 9" pie crust cooled
2 pints strawberries (might add few extras if you have them)
1 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water (or hot)
2 1/2 Tab. cornstarch
2 Tab. strawberry or cherry jello ( I prefer cherry, prettier color)
Whipping Cream or Cool Whip
Mix well sugar & cornstarch, add hot water.
Boil till thick & clear. Remove from heat.
Add jello, stir to dissolve. set aside to cool.
While crust and above mixture are cooling,
clean and stem berries, if large cut into several
chunks place in bowl. Pour glaze over berries
mix all together well, pour into crust,
and refrigerate until served.
Top with whipped cream or cool whip. _________________
